The York Youth Symphony is for talented, dedicated musicians in grades nine through twelve desiring an exceptional musical experience. Admission each season is by audition. The YYSO is not intended to replace school orchestral programs. Therefore, in order to belong to the YYSO, students must be in good standing with their school program.
Auditions for the York Youth Symphony Orchestra 2013-2014 Season:
- Saturday, August 24th a.m. (Strings)
- Sunday, August 25th p.m. (Winds, Brass, Percussion)
If your son/daughter is interested in auditioning, you may email the audition coordinator with the following information:
Name, address, phone, student email address, parent email address, school, grade, and instrument.
An audition time will be assigned according to your instrument and you will be sent the information you will need.
