Education

The YYSO looks to create new opportunities for our members and for the community. Our goal is to provide more accessibility to music education in the York and Adams counties.

Orchestra Petting Zoo

The Orchestra Petting zoo first started as a part of the celebrateARTS week hosted by the Cultural Alliance of York County. This music education activity has YYSO members display the instruments they play to children and families interested in learning an instrument.

The next Orchestra Petting zoo will take place at the Agriculture and Industrial Museum on Saturday January 25, 2020. Times will be announced soon.
